Notes: First of all, I'd like to thank all the organisation of Camelot Remix. I'm not gonna sit here and lie and say it was a blast - it was slow, painful, like re-learning to walk. I haven't written properly in years, but I'm so thankful to have the opportunity to do it again, and so thankful for your work in getting this together.
Second, I must thank GeekLover for participating and giving me the chance to love both Merthur & my birthplace at once. The Gods know how much I've missed both. I'm sorry I couldn't make it something more meaningful or impactful, but from the moment I came across the Rio Olympics reference, I could think of nothing else.
Third - the title comes from the first line of a song, "The Song of the Jet" (that's the title of the version in English), a typical bossa-nova song, written by Tom Jobin in '62, which was translated into English in '64. It just seemed to both fit and inspire the story. You can hear Ella Fitzgerald's beautiful and faithful rendition of it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGXxNijtf48
Finally, thank you all and whatever mistakes you find are my own.
Summary: Arthur thought it was all settled with his grand gesture in proposing to Merlin in the end of their run at 2016's Olympic Games. Merlin has other ideas.
