Notes: I had a lovely time trawling through your fics, Malu, but it was an easy choice in the end as I have loved In Lieu of Cake since I first read it. It has deviated from what I originally planned as the characters took over and one or two were not in the original plan at all! I had great fun writing it, picking up on the themes of kidnap, unexpected allies and even some redemption. I do hope you enjoy it.
