If you're having your work hosted on AO3 for the fest, you may have noted that the 'date published field' will likely be the date you submitted or last edited your work. This won't matter if people are clicking through from the Dreamwidth or Livejournal comms, but it does mean that people sorting through AO3 via the Recently Updated list won't see it, since AO3 doesn't change the date to match the "Go live" date.
For example, if you go to http://archiveofourown.org/tags/Merlin*s*Arthur%20Pendragon/works you will see it's sorted by published date. So if you submitted a M/A work on March 1 but it doesn't go live until March 20, it will be buried pages and pages back in the list.
We suggest that once you see that your work has been posted in the comm that you go back to AO3 and edit your work to set a different publication date. Enter the date your remix was posted and voila! Your work will be easily found by anyone looking through AO3 pairing tags.
Many thanks to A Fest Participant (you know who you are) for this thoughtful suggestion!
